Shuter’s Classy Lady is a feminine young cow who just weaned her first heifer calf.  Lady traces back to our foundation cow line, the Highland Lassies, and is sired by Shuter’s Tuff Enuff.  Her first heifer calf was out of GS 629 Raymond and she is good enough that we wanted to breed her back the same way.  We decided to keep her heifer calf to carry on the cow line and offer the factory at the National Sale.

When we saw Tuff to Take and his twin brother nursing on one of Claude Law’s foundation females, we decided that we needed to make sure and get at least one of these guys in front of more people, so we brought them home and are offering the better one through the National Sale.  Tuff to Take has the same power, soundness and disposition of his daddy and his brothers, Kalijah and Thunderstruck.  By bringing in the outcross genetics on the cow side, he offers an interesting opportunity to add some Tuff genetics to your herd. 

 

We will be entering Tuff To Take in the National

Show at Louisville in November and would like

 to show him at our expense if the new owner

is willing as well.

Here is your opportunity to pick up a nice little brood cow prospect out of Shuter’s Tuff Enuff and a first calf heifer we bought from the Schoenhals herd of Oklahoma.  This fancy little lady will be a smaller framed, easier keeping female that would work exceptionally well in a grass based program.  She is stout enough, deep-sided enough and sound enough to make a competitive show heifer and will go on to make a very nice cow after spending some time on the tanbark. 

 

The dry weather and the fact that her momma was

trying to adjust to life in Indiana and calved in

February with her first calf didn’t help Megan’s

 weaning weight, but don’t let that keep you

from adding this high quality female to your

herd.
