God saw you were getting tired and a cure was not to be.

So he put His arms around you and whispered ‘Come to me.’

A golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands now rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best.

                                                   

                        We regretfully share with our Red Poll                           family that on August 24 we lost our founder,                         patriarch and friend.  God called Mervin L Shuter, our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather home to tend to his pastures.  Mervin first started in the Red Poll business with his father Leslie in 1941.  We have heard stories of how he touched countless lives and made a positive impact on people all across this country.  He will be missed greatly, but no where more than at home where his legacy will continue.
